The project was born in 2006, in the Lifelong Learning Plan Area’s seminary which involves a dozen teachers, representatives of schools in the Ges, Oris and Bisaura’s Valley in Osona county, Barcelona, Catalonia.

The schools who participate in the project can be public and State ones.

The project is being carried through three Catalan countries: Osona, El Ripollès i Alt Camp, in each one of them each school works in their own municipality.

In Osona there are 8 different schools linked to the project, in el Ripollès 4 schools and in l’Alt Camp there are 11 schools. 23 schools are carrying out this program, which is open to new schools who want to participate.

To participate in the project it’s not necessary a full school participation, it can register only a single course or classroom with 25-30 students per class, and the class’ tutor becomes the one to provide premises to the students so they can develop tasks representing the spring to spring program.

Children are the protagonists of their own learning, inquiring, investigating and resolving their own doubts. The teachers’ team must be a guide that leads them through their own interests. In each school, the proposal follows different methodology and a specific procedure.

– To ease an analytic and discovering learning; to introduce students to research skills, pushing him to take initiatives to maintain a creative attitude and the use of skills to collect and process the information.

–  The autonomy, accountability, collaboration and the self assessment are the core of the methodology for all groups.
